Delete Your Account

Welcome to TheTravelCommunity. You can request the deletion of your account and associated personal data by following the instructions below.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open TheTravelCommunity app.
  2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
  3. Open your Profile or Account Settings.
  4. Select the Delete Account option, if available.
  5. Follow the confirmation instructions to complete the request.

Request Account Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app or its account deletion option, send an email from your registered email address requesting account deletion.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

  • Your account and authentication information.
  • Your profile information, including your bio and bike details.
  • Your associated trip and participation information, where applicable.
  • Your personal device tokens and associated account data.

What Happens to Trip and Chat Data?

Hosted trips may be cancelled, and participation records may be updated when an account is deleted. Some chat history may be anonymized to preserve conversation continuity for other users.

Data Retention

Certain records may be retained for a limited period where required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Retained information will be handled according to applicable laws and our privacy policy.
